So what's in it?
Having last time around in our Vox Pop feature compiled the thoughts of QPR fans on Michael Beale's decision to stay in W12, we flip that this time around by asking the same contributors for their thoughts now the ****** ******* has jumped ship and headed north of the border. In fact, we don't hold back on the whole sorry saga, with various articles focusing on why QPR fans feel so betrayed by his decision to quit.
There is, of course, plenty of reading beyond having exhaustedly lambasted Beale, including the story behind Francis Peacock's long-awaited book looking back at the nearly team of 1975/76, who were fourteen minutes away from a very first League title. ("Champions of England... we nearly sang that"); plus Jamie Sellers provides us with a review of The Road to '76. Also on a literary theme, John O'Mahony looks back at the memorable QPR career of the mercurial Tony Currie.
Elsewhere in a packed edition, we dissect and rate the six fixtures between Wigan at home and Coventry away; while we take a look at the World Cup in Qatar; and plenty more besides.
